With a centrally-located future elementary school site connected to Core Park, in addition to a future joint-use high school and leisure center site along McOrmond Drive, growing up in Brighton will soon mean neighbourhood kids can walk to school instead of being driven, and lunches can be spent in the park or by the water instead of on their phones.
Both the joint-use Saskatoon Public and Greater Saskatoon Catholic Elementary and High School’s are awaiting government approvals before proceeding with construction. Until the completion of all four schools, Brighton residents will continue to have their children bussed to nearby communities.
